Connecting to GPS

To ensure your device has an accurate GPS fix:

• Leave device near a window or outside to set GPS local position*
• Once you see the GPS icon change, the location accuracy is high and your device is good to go.

Please note, you do not need to perform the GPS fix procedure every time you turn the device on. Just when you first connect in a new location or after the device has been reset.

*The nature of GPS satellites requires some initial time to receive an accurate location. This could take around 15 minutes after activation.

GPS Satellite Diagnostics

If you would like to see a live status of the GPS satellites, you can view the GPS diagnostics page on your device by going to Menu > Diagnostics > GPS
